Yet what is said is correct based on literally all the evidence, like he said you don't require a monarchy to be a free people however if you have one it not only doesn't stop you but at present as long as it's a constitutional monarchy and not an Absolute Monarchy it seems to actually help. Top 20 world freedom index countries 10 of them have Monarchies which is a lot when you consider there are only 43 of the 195 countries in the world are some sort of Monarchy... and one of them is Vatican city.

The fact that Monarchies are so often high on the freedom, happness and lifestyle index suggests they can exist perfectly fine in a modern society and they have numerous advantages you simply don't get anywhere else including stability and in the case of the British monarch an advisor to parliment who has been trained from birth on constitutional law and governance to give advice.

Truthfully I abhor the idea of a Monarchy and the associated elitism, snobbery, anti democracy. And it has been argued that they do very little “work”. That is done by other people. Many thanks for your comment. Since making the video have have come across an issue with the guitar that I think relates to the lightness of the body. That is that the balance of the guitar is slightly wrong. It is slightly neck heavy and causes the neck to drop when using a strap. I love the guitar and have corrected the problem using tyre weights attached to the back of the guitar.

@@AndyDrudy Locking tuners are often responsible for neck dive. I found this out when I put LTs on a guitar that had no neck dive before. I've since become no fan of locking tuners as all they do is make string changes a few moments quicker. They do nothing for tuning stability as wood still moves with temp/humidity changes. Split shaft tuners are much better imho. Nice playing with the Artist. But I have to say, I don't get why people buy pre-damaged guitars 🤷‍♀

I looked into that one. The reason I didn't opt for it is that as I point out in the video, below about 80hz, there isnt much going on that is useful. And at 16k your really just amplifying noise. The BOSS seems to cover all the main frequencies relevent to the fundamentals and harmonics produced by a guitar . The lowest note on a standard guitar tuning is E which is 82.41hz (the fundamental). Below that, the instrument is producing nothing musical.

Boss knows a thing or two about building pedals.

Ahh, many thanks. The whole piece is a mix of 5/4 or 6/4. I think 6/4 is an underused time signature. On a dimly lit stage the detent would be a life saver (I would imagine). With both pedals, very little movement in the slider creates a big effect so knowing that each sliders default is no effect (zero) is a good starting point. But point taken.

I love BOSS stuff. To my ears, thy sound great. And they are not that cheap either! Price tag is no indication of how a pedal will sound. I am a compressor junkie, one of the worst compressors I ever played was a very well known brand at over £200. It was terrible.

Odd, I've had two 7's (one old that I lost) and a newer one and I've never experienced any noise in either. You're not the first person to mention it. I guess I've just been lucky twice.

Hi Gareth. I have just run a check on my GE-7 which is brand new. I have watched videos that demonstrate the noise you mention. Which is significant. However on mine, I cannot replicate that noise. Not even close. I tested with the Boogie and direct line with my BOSS GX-100 and high volume (or as high as I could stand). When you push the LEVEL control up all the way it gets noisy, but that is what I would expect from my strats single coils in an environment with screens and PC's etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. I wonder if BOSS have updated their components. I wonder if BOSS continually update their pedals when better components become available. Perhaps chip manufacturers update their own components as time goes on. That is certainly something I would do if I were running the company. Seems like a no brainer. @@Fordnan - Meh. In spite of Canada being a “Constitutional Monarchy”, the monarch, and their Canadian representatives (Governor-General and Lieutenant-Governors) hold no legislative, judicial, or executive power. Beyond those of pageant, ritual and ceremony.

And yet they have the power to vet and veto debate in the house of commons, vet and amend legislation before it enters parliament, refuse assent to legislation passed by parliament, assent to legislation voted down by parliament, and to ultimately prorogue parliament. It's how the establishment shorted our democracy and 'got brexit done' without the necessary due process being carried out by parliament. I rather suspect you're kept in the dark about the powers the monarchy hands your establishment, too.

@@Fordnan Simply, no. Britain, yes. But Canada is not part of GB. It isn’t even a colony anymore. It is a “Commonwealth Realm”, and since the Canadian Constitution Act, 1982 patriated the British North America Act, 1867 to Canada , thus ending any Canadian dependence on the Parliament of Westminster and further defined our complete independence. So, figurehead.

@@johnspooner1403 I don't know the details of what power the monarch retains in Canada. I know you are in the minority in Canada, and according to some polls you would be even here. Canada's abolition of the monarchy will be an important first step in ending it across the 'commonwealth', including here, so good luck to your compatriots. You're always free to retain an unelected hereditary head of state if you choose to do so democratically, and get consent every generation.
